Preparation

1. Spray any existing grass or weeds using Roundup or a similar chemical being sure to follow the manufacturers recommendations. Wait 7 to 10 days.
   
   
2. Remove debris. Shape ground to desired levels being careful to achieve correct drainage.
   
   
3. Rotary hoe or cover with organic soil to a depth of 50 to 100mm. If you need soil delivered direct to your home then, please call us 61-7-3114 8230.
   
   
4. When selecting soil use only a screened product, preferably an organic under turf mix. At a depth of 100mm you will need 1 cubic metre to cover 10 square metres. If you only want a depth of 50 mm then you will need to order 1 cubic metre of soil for every 20 square metres of turf area.
   
   
5. Spread the soil and smooth by raking.
   
   
6. Prepare a sketch of your site and using a tape measure mark the dimensions of the different areas and note any unusual features. If you wish you can e-mail or fax your sketch to us and we will calculate the amount of turf you will need.
