Jimboomba Turf launch website for industry and customers. Brisbane, March 27 2002 - Jimboomba Turf has a new web presence, with a website that provides a wide range of information about turf research, production and installation.

The Jimboomba Turf Group site - located at www.jimboombaturf.com.au - is a resource where customers, civil engineers, and erosion control bodies can access a wide array of industry information.

"The site can be used by everyone from domestic customers who want maintenance tips for their grass, to civil engineers who want to download specification details for our reinforced, soil-free turf," said Michael Renton, Jimboomba Turf Group Financial Director.

The site uses advanced technology, and offers a 'virtual helicopter flight' around the Jimboomba turf farm as well as short video clips on turf processing and hyrdomulching. It also features many pictures of the specialist machines used in turf harvesting and installation, hyrdomulching and hyrdoseeding.

The site was created by Brisbane web designer Martin Kosik, who used information gathered over the company's twenty-eight years in the turfing industry.

While exporting, Jimboomba Turf Group also developed a new method of packaging and exporting the turf which has meant that the Dubai Government has received all the stock in great condition.
