Dear Bob,


On behalf of Mrs Hanna Surm, I would like to express gratitude for your help
and generosity over the replacement of her 12m² of Sir Walter turf.

Her original grass had been used as a playground and toilet for her dog and thus was
in a deplorable condition. As it is in a shaded area where Mrs Surm likes to sit
on a hot day and as she was expecting visitors from Germany, I thought it would be
good idea to replace the mess with a shade tolerant grass.

I was advised that Sir Walter would be the ideal option.

Thus I dug up the original grass, hoed the ground with a mattock and worked in a suitable
amount of recommended sub-turf soil. On Saturday 8th Jan at 9am we collected the 24 slabs
from Bunnings at Mt Gravatt. By 11am it was all laid, watered and rolled.

Hanna watered the turf by hand morning and night. Given that the area receives 4-5 hours
of direct sun each day I was surprised that the turf never really looked healthy.
Yesterday, (19th Jan) I decided to call you for your thoughts.

I have to say that I was delighted that you offered to replace the turf free of charge
and deliver it to Hanna’s home at 14 Beckenham Place, Carindale. It is excellent when
a company is prepared to stand by their product in this manner and do so with such good
grace and co-operation.

Hanna is having a gate built and fitted tomorrow such that her large dog will not have
access to this small but pleasant area.

Hopefully this 3rd attempt to establish a small area of lawn will be successful.

Again, may I express gratitude to you and Jimboomba for your help and generosity.

I recently visited a friend at Wavell Hts who just did his entire yard with Sir Walter.
Outstanding!

I have a patch about 14m2 that requires Sir Walter. Knowing its only a small amount
of turf, I don’t want to waste your time delivering. What r my best options to obtain
some. Should I bring the ute over to Boomba or do u have delivery arrangements more
suitable to both of us? If I drive over, what’s the turf cost to pick up as opposed
to delivery? We have family over your way so we can kill 2 birds with one stone.
By the way…Sir Walter is an incredible product.

Dear Tony,

Three weeks ago I laid 90 square metres of Sir Walter buffalo on my reconstructed front
yard. When I was discussing the turf with you some weeks ago I was worried whether it
would be sufficiently established by the time I was due to depart on holidays after
Christmas. Now I am more worried that it might take over the whole house by the time
I get back! I laid the turf according to the instructions I received from your web site
and I have been amazed at the way it has settled in and grown. Apart from ensuring
adequate watering during the initial week or so (helped by some storms) I have simply
applied three deep waterings a week. It has responded so well that I gave it a light mow,
with the mower at its highest setting, two weeks after it was laid. In the week since it
has put on at least 40 or 50 mm and I will be giving it a trim again this weekend. Apart
from that my wife and I are very happy with the lush deep green appearance of the turf
and the wonderful softness and spinginess it displays when walked on. Several
of our neighbours have commented on the transformation of our yard from a miniature
version of the Simpson desert to a lush green oasis. Thank you for recommending
Sir Walter to us. We are very very pleased with the results.

I am writing to let you know about some excellent customer service I received last week
from one of your employees, Matt Barr.

He gave me a quote several weeks ago and some good advice as to where to lay my turf,
it was not a large job, but he was still very interested and helpful. The turf was laid
last week, he called the day before, during the job and even came back the next day
as I had some concerns which he offered to fix immediately.

I have followed all his instructions to the letter and my grass looks good, very green,
in fact all my neighbours have commented on it.

Dear Sir

I would like you to pass on my thanks to your staff for the supply of turf
which was delivered to my residence on Saturday 13 October 2001. The ordering
and delivery arrangement were of a high standard.

Compared to some orders I am sure the 60 sq mt purchased is minimal, but the
service was excellent. The driver (not only spot on time ) but was very
helpful in the placement of the turf within my property and provided me with
information on care and maintenance of the turf.

I have used other suppliers before but the quality of turf was inferior to
what you supplied. I will certainly advise others in this office

I ordered & received all very swiftly & without problems, the truck driver couldn’t
do more for me. That was back in Sept 04 the lawn is now really great, doesn’t take
long to come back after the kids have had a big game of Cricket on it etc & I really
enjoy caring & maintaining it I’m just so proud of it. 

I am now saving up to redevelop the front yard & will again get your good people
to supply when needed.
