Sir Walter Buffalo (sometimes referred to as Raleigh) is the ultimate Australian name in turf grass. This abuse-resistant turf will grow in the shade just as easily as in full sun. It has a lush, mild green colour and a soft, broad leaf.
Needing just 2 to 3 hours of sunlight per day, Sir Walter can grow in some areas where other grasses fail. Sir Walter can also be mowed at a variety of heights to suit your circumstances. Its slower vertical growth rates means Sir Walter requires less frequent mowing than similar grass types.
