Top Dressing

All turf will require some topdressing after installation. This should not be carried out until the turf has established and regular mowing commenced.

Topdressing is not necessary for healthy turf growth, only for leveling the surface.

We recommend using a medium washed sand, not soil as some soils contain weeds and clay which can restrict growth. For general topdressing you will require 1msq per 100msq.

The sand should be evenly spread and watered in.

Note: If you have a thick, dense turf thatch, it may require Scarifying prior to topdressing.
